This is a great item to keep beside the couch or to keep in the car. Unsurprisingly, it's wonderfully made. I was worried that the blankets would sag between the straps but it stays justas you see in the photos. I have a few trips planned in after the first of the year and I look forward to taking this with me.
This blanket roll is perfect for outings as it is a good size. The leather straps are wonderful and the Old Bull/veg tan leather backing is perfect for structure. My only complaint is that I wish it would clip onto the hardware of my Gen 1 Tank backpack but I wasn't able to do so. That isn't a big enough issue to take away any stars for my rating as this is an outstanding product.
I've used blanket rolls before, and they were always just simple and lightweight. The additional of the bull leather on this particular one really helps to give it a lot more structure though. Also, the choice to have the detachable strap done in a way similar to the EDC Pouch means that it is super convenient to simply clip the roll onto your bag if you choose not to use the shoulder strap.
